Officially known as the Rex Montgomery Physician Assistant Student Society (RMPASS), named after the original director of the UI Physician Assistant Program, the student organization seeks to represent and advance the goals of the UI physician assistant student community.
Dr. Rex Montgomery was the original director of the University of Iowa Physician Assistant program. (RMPASS) seeks to continue the tradition of excellence that was established through Dr. Montgomery's leadership. Our goals are to support and represent the physician assistant student community at the University of Iowa and further the development of the physician assistant profession in the world of medicine. Through education, service, and social support, we foster the growth and advancement of the physician assistant program at Iowa.
